Refund and Cancellation Policy

South Korea K-ETA Service — VISAonlineapply LLC

Portal: www.visaonlineapply.com/korea • Effective Date: 04 September 2026 • Last Updated: 06 September 2026

1. Purpose

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when a refund is available for the South Korea K-ETA application service purchased through VISAonlineapply LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Korea Terms and Conditions at www.visaonlineapply.com/korea/terms.

2. General Rule

A refund of our Service Fee may be issued only if your application has not yet been submitted to the Korean authorities by the Company.

Once we have submitted your application to the Korean Ministry of Justice / Korea Immigration Service, our Service Fee becomes non-refundable, because the work you paid for — reviewing, preparing, and submitting your application — has been fully performed, regardless of the outcome of that application.

3. Government Fee Is Never Refundable

The Korean Government Fee (currently KRW 10,000 per applicant, plus the online payment processing fee) is collected on behalf of, and paid to, the Korean Government. Per the official K-ETA Center, this fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including:

  • Approval of the K-ETA;
  • Refusal of the K-ETA by the Korean authorities;
  • Withdrawal or cancellation of the application by the Client;
  • Later revocation of an approved K-ETA;
  • Denial of entry to South Korea notwithstanding an approved K-ETA.
We have no authority to refund the Government Fee under any circumstance — this is the policy of the Korean Government itself, not a policy we impose.

4. Special Note — Exemption Check

If you apply for a K-ETA while your nationality is exempt under the temporary 67-country exemption, or while you personally qualify for the age-based exemption (17 and under, or 65 and over), and this exemption is shown to you during the application process but you choose to proceed anyway, your decision to proceed is treated as a voluntary application and this does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund once the application has been submitted. We recommend checking your exemption status at https://www.k-eta.go.kr/ before applying.

5. When You ARE Eligible for a Service Fee Refund

You may request a full refund of our Service Fee if:

  • You cancel your request before we have submitted your application to the Korean authorities; or
  • We fail to submit your application due to a demonstrable fault on our part; or
  • A duplicate payment or clear billing error occurred and is verified by us.

6. When You Are NOT Eligible for a Service Fee Refund

Our Service Fee is non-refundable once submission has occurred, including where:

  • The K-ETA is refused, delayed, or revoked by the Korean authorities;
  • The application is delayed or refused due to inaccurate, incomplete, or false information you provided — including inaccurate criminal record or infectious disease declarations;
  • You need to submit a new application because information cannot be modified after submission (see our Korea Terms and Conditions);
  • You change your travel plans after submission;
  • The Korean Government changes its rules or fees after submission.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email info@visaonlineapply.com with your application reference number and the reason for your request. Formal refund requests must be submitted by email to be considered received — requests made only via WhatsApp, phone, or social media will be redirected to email for formal processing.

We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days.

8. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds may take 5 to 15 business days to appear in your account after approval. We do not control the timing of your bank's processing once a refund has been issued on our end.

9. Cancellation Before Payment

You may abandon an incomplete application at any time before payment without charge. No fee is due unless and until you complete checkout.

10. Currency of Refunds

Refunds are issued in the same currency in which payment was originally made. If your card issuer applied a foreign exchange conversion at the time of payment, a different conversion rate may apply at the time of refund; we are not responsible for any resulting difference.

11. Relationship With Other Policies

This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of the legal framework governing your use of the Korea K-ETA service, together with our Korea Terms and Conditions, Korea Privacy Policy, and Korea Cookie Policy. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and our Korea Terms and Conditions, the Korea Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless expressly stated otherwise here.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified via the Website or by email where appropriate.
